An unexpected error was encountered trying to register the trigger: GetFavoriteSummary - GP 9 SP1

Issue Description

After upgrading to Dynamics GP 9.0 SP1 or greater, you recieve the message:

 "An unexpected error was encountered trying to register the trigger: GetFavoriteSummary. Error 2, This trigger will be disabled."

During Login To Dynamics.

 

This message can be safely ignored, It is caused by a change made to the Smartlist Dictionary by Microsoft for Dynamics GP 9.0 Service Pack 1 -

Solution

There is a "Hotfix chunk" for AnyView that needs to be added to alleviate the error "unexpected error was encountered trying to register the trigger: GetFavoriteSummary " generated by AnyView Creator upon login to Dynamics GP 9.0 SP1 or greater)

The Zip file can be downloaded from the AnyView Download page in the Resource Center, or from this direct link:

Place this .cnk file in the Dynamics GP Application folder, and then answer yes to "include new code" the next time you re-start and Re log into GP.
