This error can occur in two different situations:
Scenario #1
SmartList is not installed on the workstation generating the error.
Scenario #2
Smartlist is listed after AnyView in the Dynamics.set file.
Solution
Scenario #1
If Explorer/SmartList is not listed in the Customization Status window, it has not been installed or is not included in the Dynamics.set file. After installing Explorer/Smartlist on the workstation, follow the instructions for Scenario #2.
To verify that Smartlist (or Explorer in versions 5.5 and 6.0) is loaded on the workstation, follow these steps:
- From the Great Plains menu bar, select 'Tools > Customize > Customization Status'.
- Verifty that Smartlist (or Explorer in versions 5.5 and 6.0) is displayed in the product column, and that the status column shows 'Enabled'.
If Smartlist (or Explorer in versions 5.5 and 6.0) is not listed in the Customization Status window, it is not being loaded using the current Dynamics.set file. If Smartlist (Explorer in versions 5.5 and 6.0) is not loaded, this can indicate that either it has not been installed on the workstation, or that the Dynamics.set file has been modified to remove it. Correct the issue by either installing Smartlist (Explorer in versions 5.5 and 6.0) or adding it back into the Dynamics.set file.
After installing Smartlist (Explorer in versions 5.5 and 6.0) on the workstation, follow the instructions for Scenario #2.
Scenario #2
The Explorer/SmartList must be listed in the Dynamics.set file before the AnyView application.
